for those of you who have been regularly tuning in to the underground sound, you may remember a punk & rock show i did a few weeks ago.  during that show i played music from a number of great bands.  one of those bands was the rebel spell. an exceptional punk group from southern bc who seem to specialize in blunt, up front, politically charged lyrics backed up by heavy, rolling instrumentals.  if you like driving political music, or just feel like listening to something different, tune in to CICK 93.9 fm this sunday night at 8 pm for a guided tour of their  2011 album: it's

this  is my first blog entry and i'm not exactly sure what to write so i'll just talk about my next show and stuff. next sunday night i'll be playing some punk and post hardcore, as opposed to the usual dubstep.  you can expect to hear from bands like the hot snakes, GSTS, and one of my personal favourits, the rebel spell.  basicaly it's a mix of things i'll be playing in shows to come.  if it's something you think you'd be into be sure to tune in next sunday night at eight pm to the underground sound for a full hour of high morals and heavy distortion.
