Kara Schaefer and I head out on a hot ‘girl’s date’ along Tatlow Road to the mighty village of Telkwa. Telkwa is located about ten kilometres down the road from Smithers. For those who are unfamiliar with our neck of the woods in interior BC, there are two ways to travel between Smithers and Telkwa—Highway 16 which is better known as the Highway of Tears, or Tatlow Road, a quiet, meandering back road that will never be accessible to cars at the Telkwa end. Lots of cyclists embrace this lovely adventure every summer, and today Kara and I are going to discover why.
