Program:

Love is a four-legged word, part two. Amanda Frost and Forest Higgins of the Vancouver Rat Club return to help me convince you just how wonderful fancy rats are.

If you listened to last week’s episode, you'll know that Amanda and Forest began with how fancy rats are one of the most misunderstood creatures bred for human companionship. In some parts of the world they’re doing astonishing work on our behalf. Rats are an important part of several chains in life, including our food chain. It’s in our best interest to protect them. #WeAreAllConnected

Finally, my thanks to Jayne Stanfield of Dexter’s Creature Comforts for connecting me with Amanda and Forest. For more information on this rescue and advocacy group, visit www.facebook.com/DextersCreatureComforts
