The Sk8er Edition!
In our town, there are several community-minded businesses that contribute significantly to citizens of all ages. One of those businesses is Local Supply Co. Jason Krauskopf--whose name has been associated with several sporting businesses, including Local Supply Co--is also the mastermind behind the Smithers Skate Park Project. Jason is a current member of the Smithers Skate Park Society, which was established as an incorporated non-profit in 2020. Their mandate is to work with the Town of Smithers and the Office of Wet'suwet'en Youth Leadership to complete the expansion and to support the maintenance and use of the Skate Park for the benefit of all community user groups and visitors. The key word there is “expansion” and we’re going to hear all about the expansion project today, on It’s Everybody’s Business!
