Deckfest: The best free concert in town

CICK93.9FM - Smithers Community Radio is proud to announce that our Annual DECKFEST (free concert in Central Park) is returning this year on Saturday, August 17th. Deckfest is going to kick off the day before with a Warm-up Rock Show at Smithers Brewing Co. Friday, August 16th with local Bands: Urchin and Your Favourite Band. Cover $10 | 8pm

Come to the CICK Train Car (Central Park, Smithers, BC) to enjoy some of the best alternative genre music in the North. Swing by on your way home from the lake, The Smithers Street Market or tune in for a live broadcast at 93.9FM (smithersradio.com). 

Deckfest Music- Saturday, August 17th - 5:00pm - 9:00pm.

1000cuts “Sonic explorations that move from serene to dark. Rhythmic and arrhythmic textures are offered so the listener may weave together their own unique composition.” (Smithers)

Al n’ Jackson “Dynamic folky-spy-surf rock, for those that like a gritty, western flavour.” (Rupert). This year Deck Fest will be presenting some special guests (stay tuned for more details). 

• Featured CICK DJs, Pam Haasen of I Digress and Torbjørn Rive of Mind Funnel to keep you dancing throughout the night.
