The Gender Reveal Party
In the first chapter of the book, Gender: Your Guide, Dr Lee Airton explains that there are two major schools of thought about gender and its relationship to biological sex: gender as a fact and gender as a process. So, we’ll talk about the big difference between these schools of thought, whether gender differences are biological or sociological (as in, how we’re treated by those around us.)
In this episode, Laszlo and Christine explore the following topics (from that first chapter):
* is gender a fact or a process?
* what does intersex mean?
* few common terms to help you understand what we mean (and how they impact the gender queer community)
* how gender works in everyday life
