for those of you who have been regularly tuning in to the underground sound, you may remember a punk & rock show i did a few weeks ago.  during that show i played music from a number of great bands.  one of those bands was the rebel spell. an exceptional punk group from southern bc who seem to specialize in blunt, up front, politically charged lyrics backed up by heavy, rolling instrumentals.  if you like driving political music, or just feel like listening to something different, tune in to CICK 93.9 fm this sunday night at 8 pm for a guided tour of their  2011 album: it's a beautiful future.
