The town of Smithers approved the rezoning of the Alfred Avenue lot from a residential to a development zone in the next step toward a proposed Supportive Housing project. The building will have 37 units and is in partnership between the Town of Smithers, Dze'L Kant Friendship Centre and BC Housing.
