It’s budget season and as governments and municipalities get ready to layout their financial priorities for the year we check in with Smithers Mayor Gladys Atrill about infrastructure projects for 2024 and what a another tax increase will look like as the cost of living continues to inch higher including the services municipalities provide.

This afternoon between 1-3pm at the Smithers courthouse Community Living BC will launch their Smithers Built Space Project to engage to community about land acknowledgements and how best to support the Truth and Reconciliation Calls to Action.
