Program:

National Pharmacare, C-64, is set to roll out in the coming months, starting with federal coverage for contraceptives and diabetes medications. But how will the multi-billion-dollar deal benefit the people of northwest, B.C.? How much will this cost taxpayers? And when will all medications be covered?

CICK News put these questions to our Member of Parliament, Taylor Bachrach to explain how this new legislation will be rolled out.

Also, on the program today, on Friday the Gitanyow Hereditary Chiefs filed a legal challenge against the Nisga'a Governments Ksi Lisims LNG project citing "grave concerns over threats to salmon populations, escalating climate risks, and inadequate consultation," according to a press release.

Today we speak with Tara Marsden, Wilp Sustainability Director for the Gitanyow Hereditary Chiefs about why this legal challenge was launched now and what comes next.
