Tamara Davidson, the only Northern, B.C. MLA in government, has recently taken on the role of Environment Minister.

After years of working as a federal public servant, and as an elected councillor for the Haida Nation, Davidson is not responsible for arguably one of the most controversial and high-profile roles in the NDP government.

Among any issues she’ll be briefed on over the next several months, the future of the Prince Rupert Gas Transmission has landed on her desk weather to grant indefinite authorisation to build the 700 km pipeline.
