A rebroadcast of The Measure of our Society, with Tom Best
Book Clubs for Inmates is a registered charity that organizes volunteer-led book clubs within federal penitentiaries across Canada. At the moment, Book Clubs for Inmates is facilitating 36 book clubs from Nova Scotia to British Columbia. They run French and English language book clubs for men and women incarcerated in minimum, medium, and maximum security facilities.
Tom Best, Executive Director of Book Clubs for Inmates, is going to join me, to curl up over a great story: it’s a story about a book club.
