This week, some shameless plugging for two upcoming events in Smithers! Coincidentally, these are the only two events in a given year that take over my duties as the gatekeeper at the Smithers fairgrounds.
Jan McClary and Ruth Lloyd will be promoting the BV Fall Fair, while Tina Daye and Nicole Widen are going to push the Midsummer Music Festival. I even asked Eli Larsen what it feels like to perform at Midsummer. Both events are go this year, and you’re invited. In fact, both groups are looking for volunteers: what a great way to enjoy either or both events!
