With COVID restrictions temporarily lifted, many people have gone on holidays, including me. As a result, we are rebroadcasting our most popular episode, A Beginner’s Guide to the End, with Sita Then and Madeline Christie.
While I’ve entirely given up on the idea of being embalmed and buried—because of the poor environmental impacts in that process—I’ve never been terribly onboard with cremation, either. For one thing, there’s the air pollution from the cremation process to contend with. And what about mercury from our dental fillings and the various bionic parts we acquire over the years, when body parts stop working properly? Lots of non-green things to consider.
Madeline, and Sita are going to share a third option—a very green one—and one that gives me shivers in the best possible way!
