Dan Buffett, CEO of the Habitat Conservation Trust Foundation, is going to visit my natural habitat—The Cookie Jar.
In the very simplest of definitions, a habitat is the natural home or environment of an animal, plant, or other organism. There are three basic types of habitat: aquatic, terrestrial and arboreal. My personal favourite is a marshland, followed closely by a forested area, because I love to visit those habitats and watch the plants and animals that live there. So when I was introduced to the Habitat Conservation Trust Foundation (HCTF), they had me at Habitat.
