A Cat is Not a Couch, Part 2
The second of a two-part series on adoptions through the NWAS. Nicole Murray, one of my heroes, is back to continue that conversation about adoptions through the NWAS. Then, I’ll be speaking with Jenn Mackay, a former manager at Total Pet in Smithers, who’s going to share a couple of stories of real dedication to ensuring that stray cats got their chance at a good life.
If you’ve ever adopted an at-risk animal into your home, you understand the commitment needed. They’ve lived with some challenges and they often bring odd behaviours and boundaries with them. They also entirely understand the part about being rescued, and they are very grateful for your efforts on their behalf. Rescued animals make extraordinary companions.
