Two conversations with Moricetown residents who will share what this little village is doing to ensure everyone in the community has a place to call home.
If you listen to the mainstream media, you’ll hear words like crisis, disgrace and hopeless to describe life on a First Nations reservation. The residents of Moricetown, where I live, are working hard to change that stereotype.
One of the proudest examples of this is the new Net Zero housing. It's state-of-the-art and environmentally friendly. Lucy Gagnon and Lacey Naziel are going to explain how it works and why we believe it's going to be a game-changer for housing in Moricetown.
