B’s Bike Bites is a mobile ice cream business that brings yummy summer treats to neighbourhoods in Kingston, Ontario. And yet, it's so much more than that.
Bailey DiGenova is a 17-year-old non-verbal autistic man who wanted a summer job like his siblings had. His parents—Aaron Visser and Amber Potter—happened to see a used ice cream cart on a local online buy-and-sell page. That led to some modifications in approach and a lot of support from the community.
Bailey’s parents will describe the serendipity of their son's mobile ice cream business, which is opening up all sorts of opportunities for Bailey, and for Kingston!
