Wallet Litter and the Spy Novel
How you ever considered how much you tell others about yourself, just by what’s in your pockets, purse or your wallet? Back in the great wars, spies would literally carry misleading information with them, in case they were captured. Conversely, the British successfully used what was later known as wallet or pocket litter to deceive Hitler. In this final episode of our three-part mystery novel series, we’re going to explore what wallet litter is, and I’ll be reading from my favourite spy author, John Buchan.
We'll also consider how our own wallet litter affects how others see us, and what we're exposing about our own lives. It's been a fun week of life hacks, asking colleagues to empty their pockets and wallets in order to see what they're carrying around.
