I think we hit a record this week: I booked five bike interviews, and virtually every one had to postpone, all for excellent reasons. SO, here we are back at the archives! Fortunately, I have some wonderful stories to share.

On my return from istanbul, Turkey, I registered for the prestigious bike mechanic course, offered through Winterborne Bicycle Institute in Guelph Ontario. It’s a two week 88 hour course of gruelling studies and solid hands-on training, and probably unique in all of North America. I’m honoured to be one of its graduates. It was well worth the time, money and effort I put in, so I want to share a few of the things I learned in the course. Then, we’ll turn to a couple of the other graduates to hear why they took the course and finally, I’ll be speaking with Skye Maracle, Winterborne owner and lead instructor.

And then, we'll feature two dental hygienists in Kingston, Ontario, both of whom are avid cyclists, and for whom a bicycle is functionally and philosophically applicable to their business model. I’ll be in the studio speaking with Cindy McQueen of Roving Dentail Hygiene and then will comment on my own hygienist at the time, Deborah Steacy.
